The De'Longhi Magnifica Start (ECAM220.22.GB) is not just designed to brew milk without grinding and brewing coffee. The machine has an integrated grinder that grinds the coffee beans before brewing, and preparation options include espresso, coffee, americano and other coffee drinks.

To prepare milk or other milk-based beverages, the machine uses a manual steamer to froth milk, but cannot dispense milk alone without going through the process of grinding and brewing coffee.

If you need a specific function to dispense only milk, you may have to consider another machine or a separate accessory.
