Question about Philips 3-in-1 air conditioner AMF870/15

I'm a bit confused and hope someone can help me. I have the Philips in the bedroom and for some time now, when I use the Philips in heating mode, the plug gets warm and so does the socket. In addition, for a few days now, another socket (the one by the bedroom door where the light switch is) also lights up when the Philips is in heating mode. What's even stranger is that for the last two days the light has suddenly switched on as soon as the appliance has been running for a few minutes... is my flat not suitable for the Philips or is the Philips the problem? Surely this is not normal?

You definitely have a problem with the high power of the Philips... Do you have other loads on the same mains supply? Try plugging the Philips into a socket that belongs to a different fuse. If the same thing happens there, it could be the Philips. Otherwise I would ask an electrician
