Question about Sodapop Logan

Is it normal that the bottle can still be moved upwards by approx. 1cm when hooked in? And is therefore very wobbly? The glass bottles don't work for me at all, there's a big lake but no fizz inside. The plastic sometimes works, but there is always water leaking out. And yes, I haven't filled above the maximum lines. I somehow have the feeling that a seal is missing.

Push it all the way up and then fold it in. If you do it right, the bottle hangs nicely in the holder and does not stand on the floor.

The handle gets better with time.

It is also important to fill the water up to the fill level.

No, we don't have that problem. It works very well for us. The important thing is that the rod at the top points forwards at an angle when you insert the bottle. And that the door is fully closed until it clicks into place.

The nozzle from which the gas flows must face slightly forwards. Then insert the bottle from bottom to top and fold it in as far as it will go. The bottle can then be moved a few millimetres from bottom to top, but is now properly inserted. Close the door and press the fizz button. That's it.
Only a little gas should escape if there is enough gas in it and there should not be a lake. You may have screwed the gas cylinder in too little. Gas may then flow past the valve.

Exactly, the cylinder only has about 3-4mm play after insertion. And the "lake" only appears shortly before the gas cylinder is empty. So it seems to be a product defect in your case.

It's the same for me, it can be moved upwards by about 5mm.
I fill the bottles to about 1-2 mm ABOVE the line so that the nozzle is then in the water.
Works well until the gas is almost empty. Then there is a lake - the signal to change the Co2 :/

I don't think the nozzle has enough pressure to break through the surface tension of the water.
I filter and cool the water in the fridge beforehand so that it can dissolve the Co2 better. But I doubt that this plays a role.

When you insert the bottle here, it has about 5mm play towards the top. Only the pressure closes this. We have also noticed that this closing mechanism no longer works reliably if the pressure of the gas cylinder becomes too low.
