I am also satisfied, until.... that the cable is very short in my opinion.
And yes, the lid, handle and electrical part at the bottom (everything that is black) are plastic, the cup is completely made of stainless steel.

Stainless steel, I am really suuuper satisfied with the product. I have used it on trips for our little daughter.
