i have now tried out the grater especially for zombina's question and fetched a quince from the tree in front of my flat. i then cleaned the quince with water, peeled it and cut it in half. I sliced one half thinly with drum 1 and sliced the second half thickly with drum 2. the Solis Slice & More did both. i even took photos of the whole process. unfortunately i can't attach them here. i'm happy with the machine.
