Question about Dreame W10

I've got two of the Chinese bangers. So far I've actually been quite satisfied, there's nothing to complain about in terms of cleaning performance. But my one bot has been having problems driving in for a while now. It always slips sideways just before it does. I've already moved the station to other places, cleaned the stupid wheels at the bottom and taken it apart, but nothing. I think the problem is simply that Dreame has a very generous quality control system, because as I said, the other one doesn't go poof. The concept is also daft that it has to drive in with a lot of momentum. I have Roborocks for vacuuming. Also like Dreame from Xiaomi, but you can probably tell the difference. But after a few other Xiaomi problems, I'll be avoiding them in future, with the exception of Roborock.

I had exactly the same problem with my robot: I could also see that it could no longer drive in a straight line, but always drifted slightly in zigzags when it went back to the station or changed rooms. After I cleaned it completely - and I think the sticking point was the sensors at the bottom, about five or six, one at the front and one at the side, as well as the rotation sensor at the top (so that there's no dust or cobwebs in there) - the problem no longer occurred. It's just a guess, but I think the incorrect entry was less a problem with the wheels and more a misalignment of the robot.

Hello,
I've had the station cleaned but it's been spinning for 2-3 months. I suppose it's the wheels that need to be cleaned with alcohol. I've been thinking about it for a while and I'm going to try it out soon. But I think you need to use a product that won't destroy the plastics.
Good luck with that!

Well, I haven't even asked my question yet. Does anyone else have similar problems with the box when it comes to driving in? Incidentally, I only have the problem when the wipers are fitted. I think it just has a problem with the transition from the floor to the wiper board. The floor is ceramic tiles.
