Question about iRobot Roomba 960

I've had my roomba since summer 2017 and have been very satisfied so far. Now, however, it stops in the middle of the room when it runs out of battery. It was only supposed to be a charging station. A new battery costs a good 100 euros, which is rather surprising compared to the original price. Is this covered by the 5-year warranty? Do you have any tips?

We recommend that you contact our customer service on +41 62 746 06 74 or service@irobotics.ch so that we can find out exactly what the problem is.
We strongly advise against using a non-original battery.

I would check with Irobot but I don't think the battery is under warranty. If you need a new battery, I recommend you check Aliexpress for compatible batteries for little money. I bought one there for my 780 and it runs like new again and has even more power than the original one from Irobot.
