Question about Dreame X40 Ultra Complete
My flat has two floors and I want to ask if anybody knows how the device reacts when it approaches stairs? Would it know that it shouldn't approach and avoid falling?
I think you have to make a virtual wall mine fell over the stairs during the first cleaning
Yes, it can detect difference in surface height and not fall.

The Dreame X40 Ultra Complete has a sensor to detect the edge of the stairs. You'll be able to set a virtual wall with the Dreamehome app, which we recommend more.
The appliance will definitely not fall down the stairs
The very first time your entire flat or the area where you want to clean is scanned anyway. So it has its exact route and 100% of the time it doesn't go beyond the stairs.
