Question about Dreame X40 Ultra Complete
On the topic of cleaning agents: The original cleaning agent from Dreame is good - but unfortunately far too expensive. What alternatives are there? Important: The detergent is not added to the water manually, but is mixed automatically in the charging station. This means that the Dreame X40 (like the new X50) has a special small tank into which the detergent is poured. The robot then doses the correct mix of water/detergent automatically. Unfortunately, I can't find any information from any detergent manufacturer as to whether it is suitable for this type of automatic dosing. Do you have experience with other detergents? Can you recommend alternative products that won't damage the Dreame X40? Or is there even an inexpensive way to mix your own detergent?

Our consumption is at least very manageable. After 6 months of daily use, the 1 litre bottle still contains 250 ml for the 80 m2. However, none of it was ever poured directly into the water tank. As I interpret the ingredients, it mainly contains water and alcohols. You may want to compare the ingredients of other detergent manufacturers.
