Yes of course, ozone release but only on request, this is a function reserved for the 4 and 4 Pro, which would have such a mode (can be switched off). However, I would rather recommend this model, because the Pro H is already a relatively large model and the filters of the new Air Purifier 4 series last more than twice as long (as mentioned the ozone generator function can be switched off):
