question: 2400 W is quite a statement. Is that possible via the normal household socket? If I use a coffee machine and 800 W MW, the fuse blows....

The conventional sockets (230 volts) in residential buildings are protected with a 13A or 16A circuit breaker. This means that appliances connected to this socket may have a combined maximum power of 2990 or 3680 watts.

We never had any problems even when other power guzzlers were running at the same time.

For us, it flies out when other appliances need a lot of power at the same time. For example, a hot plate. Otherwise I never had any problems. But it also depends on the installation.
