Dyson Pure Humidify
The deep cleaning programme always hangs and you can't stop it. What do I have to do?
I had the problem that the deep cleaning stopped every 10 seconds. Turning the device on/off did nothing. Removing the power did nothing. I tried many things.
Solution: Press the power (on/off) button on the unit and the on/off button on the remote control simultaneously, then you see a countdown on the display. A factory reset is performed. Then the programme runs for 60 minutes without any problems. At the end, connect the Wifi again.
Open the water tank, turn the lid over, open the filter base, clean it under running water and now comes the crucial part. You will see a small hole in the base with 2 white "pins". Take a small screwdriver and insert it just far enough between the 2 pins to turn them briefly. This appears to be the suction motor, which gets stuck due to "mucus build-up". After reassembly, the deep cleaning cycle worked.
Good luck.
I'm having a problem with my Tyson humidifier purifier. It stopped on cleaning number 6 and I can't restart it or continue to finish the cleaning. It remains on block 6
There is a video in English on YouTube. It is due to the small impeller of the small pump in the water tank housing. If it doesn't turn, the countdown stops after 10 seconds.
Once disassembled and reassembled, it worked for us without any problems. The appliance has just run for 10 hours, practically new.
The solution for me was "Max filling"
The tank must actually be filled to the maximum. The max line can only be read when the cap is removed for filling. Then you can recognise the max. Filling line. (You really have to look for it!) It really has to be filled up to that point!
I had the same problem. Solution: the hose in the pump to the outlet above the evaporator was blocked. As a result, no water was running and dyson support couldn't sort it out or at least point out this possibility. A strong blow into the centre nozzle above the water tank blew the dirt out of the top of the hose and the water ran again. Appliance ok again.
fill the water in the container to 3/4 instead of full as described in the instructions, because this is wrong. then leave the door of the evaporator open and then the process works. this is because when the container is full of water, the pump has a vacuum and therefore no water goes up and the timer stops.
this process worked for me after a reset: hold the power button on the appliance & remote control for 10 seconds.
The tank is installed, but it turns out that this is not the case
Dyson report, we have the 4th Dyson and it seems to have got a new update.
Report directly to Dyson
i'm also on the 3rd unit and waiting for the request to do a deep clean...... let's put it this way, dyson's support is suboptimal. now i'm curious.
