I bought the whisk for the Kitchenaid Artisan. Is the 5K45SS a Classic? As far as I know, it would be the same design as the Artisan & so the whisk can be used.

By the way, the whisks from Tchimmwhip are the best for the Kitchenaid because they are dishwasher safe. The Kitchenaid whisk turns black in the sink.
