Mopping robot
We have a carpet in the living room, will it be recognised? We also have two cats, has anyone had experience with pets? (because of paw prints etc.)?
Ps. Yes, it recognises the carpet very well even without the exclusion zone, as it always moves back and then sprays the water, so everything is safe from getting wet. Barrier zones are more for e.g. a vase which is too light.
I think it depends on your cat and the settings of the M6. You can set how much water it should use. After that it dries very quickly and my cats don't really care and leave it alone. When they are awake, you may see their paws a bit. However, this does not bother me. And don't compare the robot with doing it yourself. It doesn't come close to that. But it is enough to do a rough cleaning. I run it twice a week and once we wet it by hand.
We defined a exclusion zone for the carpet in the app. However, the carpet was thick enough and was recognised.
The cleaning performance is not top when it comes to traces of pets. We have a large dog. But it is much cleaner afterwards than before. However, the robot does not catch all marks and other traces. Among other things, it is too light for that.
