What am I doing wrong? The unit has been running for approx. 2 days in an approx. 18m3 room at approx. 25° and approx. 76% Lf , which has only dropped a little. It has only drawn about 200ml. Shouldn't that be more?

The Desair dehumidifier is a so-called Peltier dehumidifier, i.e. these have a very limited capacity. We usually recommend a small condensation dehumidifier, e.g. the MEACO 12L Low Energy, which has a max. output (at 30°C / 80% relative humidity) of 12 litres / 24h and consumes only 165 watts. The Peltier has a max. output of 600 ml (20 times less than the 12 litres) and consumes 65 watts. Conclusion: Desair uses 3x less electricity, but has a performance that is 20 times weaker... The investment in a "real dehumidifier" is definitely worth it.
