what diameter of tamper do you need? is there one from De Longhi?

A coffee tamper is already included, but made of plastic. Otherwise, a Kaffir tamper with 51 mm should fit.

Yes, 51 mm. The "Concept Art Tamper, flat" is very nice (quality materials and good weight) and available in 51 mm.
