This is what I was told today:
The Dyson Pure Cool Link Tower is the predecessor of the Dyson Pure Cool tower fan. Thus, the Dyson Pure Cool tower fan has some features that the Pure Cool Link does not have. These include the LCD display on the device (here, among other things, data is listed that you can only see in the app with the Link), an extended rotation of up to 350º (with the Pure Cool Link only approx. 90º), the filter is even easier to change here and there is the possibility to deactivate the fan function, so to speak, by directing the air flow to the back. Furthermore, the Pure Cool Link has a Hepa filter and the Dyson Pure Cool tower fan is equipped with two filters (HEPA and activated carbon filter).

The Pure Cool is the newer one.
It has a display on which various air pollutants are constantly shown.
