I looked directly on Dyson and found no difference in the technical data. With the Total Clean, the Up top adapter is also included in the accessories, but not with the Absolute. The Absolute comes with a mini soft brush, which I didn't find with the Total Clean. As it looks, these are the two differences.

The Total comes with the Flex brush and the UpTop adapter. The Absolute has the Soft brush. The mini brush is present in both. What bothers me is that the price of the Total is apparently reduced by 18%. Last week, the Total was still 399 from the manufacturer. Today the manufacturer has the same price as at Galaxus. The 18% reduction would therefore only be 7.5% if you assume the same price from the manufacturer. We buyers are so blind. Make the 399.- 18% and it would look different.
