When cooking rice, a lot splashes out of the outlet hole in the lid. The surface of the cooker and the area directly in front of the cooker is totally splattered. The appliance can't be used like this. What to do?

If it sprays out of the outlet hole, you probably have too much water in it. I have the same rice cooker and it works perfectly.
