I initially had the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and was very happy with it at first. Unfortunately, my device had a problem, it leaked water under the station. Fortunately, I noticed this in time, otherwise my parquet flooring would have been damaged. Roborock's customer service (purchased through the Mi Store) was abysmal and I ended up getting my money back after returning the defective device. If you decide to buy the S8 Pro Ultra, I recommend that you only buy it through Galaxus so that any warranty claims can be handled efficiently.

Due to my bad experience with the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, I have now purchased the Dreame S20 Ultra. The cleaning performance in both wet and dry mode is comparable and both are top products. What makes a difference, however, is the Dreame S20 Ultra's extendable mop. This allows cleaning to be carried out closer to the joints. I also think it's great that the mops can be placed in the station if the robot is only supposed to vacuum. The Roborock always pulls its (sometimes wet) mop with it, which is not necessary. I was impressed by the navigation and obstacle detection on both devices.

Overall, the Roborock is slightly ahead in terms of haptic processing quality. Due to the better cleaning function provided by the extendable mop, I find the Dreame S20 Ultra slightly better and recommend it to you.

Both are great. It depends on what you value. For me personally, the rotating Wishmops on the Dreame L20 Ultra make the difference when it comes to wet mopping. Vacuuming and wet mopping is simply TOP with the Dreame L20 Ultra. The station is a bit big but looks classy and all the containers inside are large. If you have pets, you can watch what's going on via camera while mopping. My personal choice is definitely the Dreame L20 Ultra. ✌️
