These two jars should not be used for fermentation. They are storage jars of the fermented good. Our two jars only had closed lids at the time. Store them in the refrigerator and everything is fine.

I don't need jars and lids at the moment

A fermentation lid with valve and a completely closed storage lid are supplied for both jars. Replacement valves are not included
