Why do I need such a filter in Switzerland? Doesn't the device simply work without one?

Yes, theoretically it also works without a filter.
Simply set the "Filter off" function on the unit. Greetings

Dear Galaxus team, can you tell me why this filter has doubled in price in just under a year? The last time I ordered it, I got 2 for around CHF 136! Do you have an incorrect price in the system?
