The battery should not be recharged immediately after use, in order to improve its longevity; you have to wait for it to cool down. Personally, I wait at least 20 minutes before recharging it after use.
As I have 2 batteries, I can't see any loss of capacity since they were commissioned in August 2021 ....

That's exactly how it was with us. We had to buy new batteries because otherwise we could only vacuum for a short time.

since november 23 and have complained to saturn/media because it overheated and switched off after a short period of use.
We took out additional insurance / battery for 39.90 from the start, and suddenly after checking the device we get a repair cost estimate of 136.00 euros.
What the hell did we buy? that we have to experience something like this... waited 4 weeks until we got an info....

Not solved at all, the battery in this hoover is worthless. Unfortunately, consumers are being cheated yet again.
