Sigma MC-11 Adapter Canon EF to Sony E
I have some Canon EF-S lenses, are they also compatible with the Sigma MC-11 adapter for the Sony 6500 Alpha that I recently bought at digitec.
A clear NO!
I wouldn't screw an EF-S lens onto a Sony either ;)
Metabones, on the other hand, will work according to tests... but that also costs a lot... with that money you buy Sony lenses ;) Adapted lenses are rarely really satisfactory.
NO, the Sigma MC-11 has a Canon EF mount, not an EF-S! You cannot use the Canon APS-C lenses with EF-S mount on this adapter. All Canon EF lenses, i.e. the full-frame lenses, can be connected and most of them work (ask google which lenses).
But to your question a clear NO, no EF-S connections.
Ja, das sollte funktionieren laut einer ähnlichen Frage auf BHPhotovideo.

I do know that "officially" this adapter only works with Sigma listed lenses.
I'm going to buy a Sony a6300..
- Could please someone confirm if the adapter works (and how good) with any of these Canon lenses (and if you tested on a6300)?:
- Canon EF 16-35 f4L IS
- Canon EF 50 1.4 USM
- Canon EF 85 1.8 USM
- Canon EF 100 2.8 Macro USM (non-L)
- Canon EF 24-70 2.8L (Mark 1 & 2)
- Canon EF 70-200 2.8L IS II
- Canon EF-S 24 2.8 STM
- Canon EF-S 10-18 4.5-5.6 IS STM
- Canon EF-S 18-135 3.5-5.6 IS STM
- Any other Canon lens you tested?
.THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
