Is it possible to switch off the time display or deactivate the lighting completely? Or does something always light up/flash?

The light (display contrast) can be set from level 0 (off) to level 4. Level 0 is not completely off but hardly visible.
I also prefer to sleep in total darkness but the glow of this clock does not bother me.
