Altra

The Altra M Escalante 5 is a versatile running shoe that stands out thanks to its innovative design and optimised fit. Inspired by the popular Escalante 1.5, this shoe offers a modern interpretation with a FootShape fit that adapts to the natural shape of the foot. The Engineered Knit upper ensures a sock-like, flexible fit, whilst the knitted tongue retains the familiar look of the original. The redesigned rubber midsole is lighter and more flexible, providing a direct connection to the road whilst ensuring greater agility. A contoured footbed combines the iconic style of earlier models with the tried-and-tested Altra EGO midsole foam, which delivers optimal responsiveness and moderate cushioning. The spacious toe box and zero-drop design support a natural running motion and offer the comfort needed for fast training runs, daily walks or everyday errands. This shoe combines comfort, style and functionality in a well-thought-out design that is ideal for urban use and road running.
