The Alpha Jacket Men is a fully equipped hardshell designed by Arc'teryx for alpine use in all weather conditions. This rain jacket impresses with an excellent balance of durability and lightweight design. Made entirely from 3-layer GORE-TEX® Pro 2.0, the Alpha Jacket reliably protects against the elements. All exposed areas are constructed from the more robust GORE-TEX® Most Rugged material, while the rest is made from a lighter and particularly breathable Hadron™ outer fabric to save weight. The perfectly adjustable StormHood™ hood with a RECCO® reflector in the brim is helmet-compatible, clearly indicating that this jacket is designed for serious, often alpine use. The pockets are easily accessible even with a backpack hip belt or climbing harness. For targeted ventilation, the Alpha Jacket features underarm vents with water-repellent two-way zippers. This robust and technical rain jacket fits very well and allows optimal freedom of movement even with thicker insulation layers underneath, as the sleeves are generously cut and equipped with gussets under the arms.
