Product details
The Sidekick hub is a revolutionary milestone in mountain bike technology. It has been developed and tested over several seasons with the world's best teams and riders, promising to enhance the suspension performance of any full-suspension mountain bike. Its groundbreaking freehub mechanism decouples the drivetrain when coasting from the rear wheel, and an adjustable deadband filters out backlash and chain vibrations before they reach the pedals, virtually eliminating pedal feedback effects on the suspension. When the drive mechanism is decoupled from the ratchet, air resistance is significantly reduced. The result is an impeccably smooth ride over the roughest terrain, improved traction, higher speed and control, and reduced fatigue. Its nearly silent operation allows you to immerse yourself in the outdoor experience, hearing nothing but the wind in your ears and your tires on the trail.
