There are two slide-in pockets as well as spacious leg pockets with zippers for a map or similar items. The leg cuffs have a drawstring and boot hooks to prevent the boot from sliding up. Reinforcements at the hem and on the inside of the calves protect against wear and tear.

G-1000 Lite is made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It weighs less and is cooler than the original fabric, making it ideal for light summer hiking and travel clothing that needs to withstand a lot. The fabric is sewn with ripstop threads, ensuring durability despite its relatively low weight.
