The outer casings made from lead-free PVC meet all international standards regarding material properties and chemical composition. CGX-SL is an outer casing made of hard steel with a Slick-Lube liner. Slick-Lube is a lubricant that is integrated into the liner along the entire length of the outer casing, significantly reducing the friction of the inner cable. The result is an outer casing with extremely low compression.
