The Cross Trail FX Superlite from Leki is a stable and extremely lightweight trail running pole designed for sporty mountain tours. Equipped with the Cross-Shark grip, which combines the advantages of trail running and trekking grips, it is particularly suitable for fast hiking. The grip extension allows for quick adjustments to varying terrain. A wide and adjustable wrist strap securely wraps around the hand and relieves hand muscles. Thanks to the Speed Lock 2 Plus adjustment system, the Cross Trail pole can be infinitely adjusted to the correct length. For transport, it can be easily folded and stored compactly. However, the Cross Trail FX Superlite feels most at home on demanding and fast-paced trails.

This pole swings easily when walking, is stable despite its low weight and is ergonomic to grip. The narrower side grip made of comfortable cork-look foam rubber is so good that it can be held securely even without the basket strap. If you use the loop anyway, it encloses the hand perfectly and always keeps it in the right place...
So if you are looking for a pole that you can use for your mountain tours as well as for your runs, a combi model is certainly more universal - ideally even with length adjustment. Although this is noticeable in terms of weight, it allows for a wider range of uses.
