Magura MT5e HIGO closer VR/HR
Rear brake, Brake kit, 4Product details
The upgrade number 1 for e-bikes and the fast S-pedelecs MAGURA logically targets the booming market of e-bikes and fast S-pedelecs with drive support up to 45 Km / h with the new MT5e. The advantages, which already convinced the demanding all-mountain / enduro mountain bikers, can not be denied in urban traffic: The lightweight brake lever housing made of MAGURA-exclusive Carbotecture material offers outstanding ergonomics in conjunction with the special pedelec brake lever made of die-cast aluminum. The extra stiff four-piston brake caliper with the - thanks to magnetiXchange brake pistons - very easy to change brake pads provides superior braking power in every conceivable riding situation. And the legendary MAGURA Royal Blood is as a brake medium not only more environmentally friendly than the DOT brake fluid of many competitors, but also the guarantee for permanent low maintenance and thus low operating costs. MAGURA has devised a groundbreaking new solution for the MT5e: a mechanical switch that sits directly in the brake lever. This activates the brake light even before the onset of braking action. This also benefits drive systems with recuperation mode, when the drive cutoff is activated as early as possible. And in the event of crash damage, replacement is far more cost-effective. The MT5e also features the new Storm HC brake discs, which offer even greater durability and mechanical strength than the previous Storm versions. The new friction ring geometry of the brake discs, which are available in diameters from 160 to 203 mm and continue to be 2 mm thick, also ensures optimized wear and noise characteristics. Cable length control for brake light and motor: 150 mm. Lever mounting possible on both sides. Adjustable lever width via tool. Forged 4-piston brake caliper with banjo. MagnetiXchange brake pistons for easy pad change. Also suitable for S-pedelecs. VR/HR.
