Featuring side knobs from the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it offers extreme cornering stability. The center knobs have beveled edges for improved acceleration. Notches on the knobs enhance the transition when leaning into corners. Part of the center knobs has a paddle shape that digs in during hard braking, helping to keep the bike under control.

Doubledown tires are constructed like our downhill tires: two casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. With two 120 TPI (instead of 60 TPI) casing layers and an aramid bead, they are significantly lighter.
