The new Auric Cut Backcountry MIPS sets new standards for on-piste and off-piste riding. The new POC MIPS technology reduces the energy that impacts the brain during a fall with an oblique impact. Gel padding on the inside of the helmet perfectly adapts to the shape of the head and absorbs linear and rotational forces through its free movement, similar to the natural protective mechanism of brain fluid. The Auric Cut Backcountry MIPS features soft ear pads, a lightweight size adjustment system, and adjustable ventilation inspired by the Fornix. The EPP material used on the inside of the helmet is multi-impact capable, making the helmet extremely safe and durable in conjunction with MIPS and the ABS outer shell. The integrated Recco reflector facilitates location in the terrain. Additionally, the Auric Cut Backcountry Spin is compatible with the optionally available POC Aid Communication Headset.
