Moustache has developed an adapter that allows 500 or even 400 watt batteries to fit into the 625 bracket. I'll just quote from the Moustache page: "The Bosch PowerTube batteries with energy contents of 400 Wh, 500 Wh and 625 Wh are not the same length. To ensure compatibility with each battery, we have developed a Moustache adapter so that you can easily switch between the different battery sizes! If the battery compartment of the ebike is compatible with the indicated battery, there is no problem. A smaller battery, e.g. a 500 Wh, the battery compartment of the ebike is not suitable.

I would like to know the difference between the two Bosch 625 Vertical batteries. One is this one with BBP 291 for 721. The other BBP 376y for 768.-

I would only rely on a current picture. Galaxus had a horizontal one on sale, but then delivered a vertical one. At least they took it back without any problems.

According to the supplier, the difference is as follows: Article 56.77015, BDU 290 is installed horizontally in the frame. Article 56.77016, BDU 291 is installed vertically.
