Yes, that is correct. The Twister Plus does not have its own ignition! I still have the Twister Plus PZ. However, it happened to us twice that something boiled over while cooking and we were able to activate the igniter again after the first time, but not the second time. That is probably the risk of the PZ. That's why I ordered ONLY the Twister Plus as a replacement (the old one is getting on in years).
