I received it today and I had in mind that there was also a front light, as I thought I'd seen it in the photos, or at least there is a front light mentioned in the description... either I've misunderstood or this information needs to be removed from the description, as there is in fact only a rear light.

It happens to me from time to time that a bike is not recognised. On my route, these are mostly slim gravel bikes. More massive e-bikes are always recognised.

As far as I know, a flashing rear light is not permitted in Germany, for example, and RTL516 does not do this either. RTL515 has more light functions and also a flashing mode.

The main difference between the two products is that the Garmin Varia RTL 515 has a rear light with different light modes, while the Garmin Varia Radar RTL 515 is just a radar unit without a light.
