The inner tent is mainly made of breathable polyester, not mesh. It therefore does not offer a clear view of the sky and is only partially suitable for pitching on its own. :(

I can't give you an exact figure as I haven't set up the tent yet. I am 190cm tall and have plenty of room. So I would tend towards 212cm.

No, it is generally not possible to pitch the inner fly without pitching the outer fly for the Salewa Latitude II. The inner and outer fabrics are designed to be pitched together to ensure stability and protection from the elements.
