With the exception of the rubber stopper that keeps the bottle tight, yes. That would have to be washed separately. But otherwise we wash the rest in the dishwasher.
No, you shouldn't do that. I think the cap will hold the first few times, but the bottle is not made for that.

According to the supplier: "Hot drinks are not a problem. However, the contents do not stay warm for long because they are not insulated bottles."
