I use this version but without the gear loading button. I've been using Zwift shifters for two years now, which are more ergonomic and perfectly compatible. That said, the system is brilliant and I won't be going back to a cassette system.
We currently have no purchase offer from our suppliers for version two. Unfortunately, we have no further information on availability.

Most Smart Trainers (Elite, Wahoo) are supplied with Shimano, and the Zwift cog fits perfectly on them.
Theoretically, you can also leave out the cog and work with the existing cassette. Set a clean, straight chain line and shift virtually using Zwift Click.

Versions prior to Wahoo Kickr v6, such as the Kickr Core, are compatible with the Zwift Click & Cog - Virtual Shifter, provided you remove the freehub supplied with the kit and fit it to the freehub of your existing Kickr. This compatibility has been confirmed by users and tests, although the Zwift site may not yet reflect this update. The Zwift Cog kit is designed to work with several Wahoo models, including versions prior to Kickr v6.
