Cross-country riding is evolving; bikes are more powerful than ever, trails are getting rougher and tougher, and riders are pushing their limits. XC/Trail bikes typically lean towards higher efficiency, which results in a compromise in suspension and rider comfort. Fatigue in the hands and arms can have unpleasant effects and limit performance. Race Face has developed the new Next SL carbon handlebar with the goal of reducing rider fatigue without compromising handling. Our design allows for good vertical flex for added comfort, while additional carbon on the front and back of the handlebar eliminates poor horizontal flex for improved steering precision. With a handlebar diameter of 35 mm, the new Next SL carbon handlebar weighs just 167 g, making it the lightest in its category without sacrificing stability.
