The Cristallo is our long-sleeved, warm, moisture-wicking, and skin-friendly winter baselayer for women. It transports moisture away from the body and dries quickly.

This baselayer owes its high wearing comfort primarily to the hybrid Alpine Merino Responsive fabric, which consists of 78% merino wool and 22% polyamide. The synthetic fibers are enhanced with our patented Responsive technology. Responsive is based on a special blend of natural, thermoreactive minerals that recycle the body's far-infrared energy and gradually release it back. This results in better performance and faster recovery, keeping you warmer for longer. These benefits remain throughout the entire lifespan of the fabric, as Responsive is an integral part of the fiber and does not wash out.

The Cristallo features a close-fitting design with a round neckline and an arm design with an integrated gusset for greater freedom of movement. It is produced using a special knitting technique, where a super-fine 19-micron merino wool yarn is spun around a nylon core. This process not only makes the bluesign-certified fiber stronger, fluffier, and more voluminous but also 30% lighter than a comparable baselayer fiber. The high polyamide content further enhances durability and mechanical stretch properties. Our innovative knitting technique allows for the creation of a one-piece torso element without disruptive seams for maximum comfort. Additionally, the merino fibers have a natural odor-reducing effect.
