At around 2 Bar, a balloon bike rolls wonderfully lightly with full suspension effect. A normal tire with a width of 37 mm must be inflated to a hard 4 Bar to roll similarly well.

However, even with these bikes, the loads and average speeds are higher than with regular bikes, which is why Schwalbe only recommends certain tires as "E-Bike ready 25."
