The Schwalbe Air Plus bicycle tube retains air longer thanks to its increased wall thickness. Less frequent pumping is necessary, and the tube offers above-average puncture protection. It features a 40 mm SV valve, also known as a French (FV), Presta, racing, or Sclaverand valve. The tube weighs approximately 320 grams.

The sizes mentioned above are ETRTO, inch, and French sizes.

The ETRTO measurement consists of two numbers, for example, 40-622. The first number, 40, is the width of the tire in millimeters. The second number, 622, indicates the inner diameter of the bicycle tire in millimeters.

The inch size consists of two or three numbers. The first number is the diameter of the tire in inches. The second number is the height of the tire, and the third number is the width of the tire. The German measurement system also uses inches, but there the second number is the width and the third is the height.

The French size consists of two numbers plus a letter, for example: 700 x 38C. The number 700 indicates the outer diameter in millimeters. The second number, 38, indicates the tire width in millimeters. The letter (C) stands for the rim size. The tire size is often indicated on the sidewall of the tire itself.
