The new XT T8000, equipped with trekking-specific components, offers top-notch functionality for demanding riders, just like its counterpart for mountain biking. The 3x10 Rapidfire Plus shifters utilize Shimano's leading technologies, Instant, Multi, and 2Way-Release, to ensure quick and precise gear changes.

Rapidfire Plus is designed for fast shifting, allowing the rider to downshift by up to three gears with a single shift stroke.

The Rapidfire Plus shifters feature 2Way-Release, meaning the shift cable can be released by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.

The Instant-Release shifting process replaces the two-step click and release mechanism. With Instant-Release, the cable is released immediately upon lever activation, achieving the fastest possible gear change.
