As the name suggests, this is our ultimate brake design for cross-country and light trail use. We have packaged it into a smaller, sleeker, lighter, and XC-optimized unit. The carbon lever pulls crisply and cleanly thanks to the pivot bearings and our DirectLink design. And this feeling is maintained throughout the ride, as it is tuned to our new two-piece, two-piston brake caliper. The superior heat management of this caliper and the smooth piston actuation provide you with braking power exactly when and how you need it.
