The new NX Eagle rear derailleur uses the proven SRAM X-Horizon design, specially designed for 1-speed. The larger 14-tooth lower rear derailleur roller provides the capacity required for Eagle cassettes (10-50 or 11-50 tooth) and contributes to the silky smooth operation of the NX Eagle. The Type-3 Roller Bearing Clutch vibration dampening system ensures consistent, quiet, and reliable shifting performance.

The parallelogram design of the X-Horizon rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting and reducing shifting force. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper shifting roller ensures a constant chain distance in every gear.

The X-Actuation technology, specially developed for SRAM 1x, ensures precise and constant shifting along the entire cassette. X-Sync 2 Eagle is the latest development of SRAM X-Sync technology. The tooth profile of the chainring increases chain tension and pedaling efficiency. The X-Sync Eagle technology reduces friction and dirt, increasing the life of the chainring.

Roller Bearing Clutch rear derailleurs offer maximum drivetrain stability even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. Roller Bearing Clutch technology puts an end to wobbling rear derailleurs and beating chains without sacrificing precision. Cage Lock technology in the rear derailleur makes rear wheel removal, installation, and chain mounting quicker and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward to release the chain tension and lock it.
