The Tacx Flux Smart T2980 home trainer features a compact, maintenance-free, and realistic interactive direct drive. Thanks to the fast-reacting smart electronics and a flywheel weighing 7.6 kg, even the smallest differences are immediately felt in the legs. Among all Tacx trainers, the Flux has the heaviest actual flywheel with an inertia of 32 kg. The stronger the flywheel effect, the more realistic the riding experience becomes. The Flux 2 Smart communicates via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart and can wirelessly connect to smartphones and tablets. With the ANT+ FE-C protocol, training can be done using both Tacx apps and third-party apps like Zwift and TrainerRoad without needing to connect the Flux home trainer to another device. Additionally, training in standalone mode is also possible. If the Flux is not connected, it simply simulates a flat road.
