Roughly modeled after the form factor of Google Glass, the CORKY X offers a different kind of heads-up display. Equipped with a small mirror, this eyewear accessory lets you glance behind you simply by looking out of the corner of your eye. The CORKY X comes with a universally retrofittable design that can be securely and comfortably attached to any eyewear model in just a few seconds. The product uses a highly reflective acrylic PC mirror that is comparable to commercial mirrors but weighs only a fraction of the weight. The mirror is positioned at the very edge of your field of vision, ensuring it does not obstruct your view of the road ahead, and is mounted in an adjustable housing that allows you to tilt the mirror in any direction, eliminating blind spots and providing you with the perfect view of what’s behind you. Although the concept behind the CORKY X may seem simple at first glance, the design process of the product required significant consideration and was more complex than one might think.
