The Rise Up 82 is a true ascent specialist, but it also impresses with good performance on descents. For this model, Völkl introduces the 3D Radius Sidecut for the first time, which has previously only been used in freeride and all-mountain skis. This construction combines three different radii that blend seamlessly along the entire length of the ski. As a result, the ski's turning behavior adapts according to the dominant sidecut radius, which depends on the edge angle. This provides excellent stability at high speeds and makes the ski highly resistant to disturbances even in challenging off-piste conditions.

The multi-layer wood core of the ski is particularly lightweight, enabling reliable downhill performance with minimal weight. Additionally, the ski is robust and stable thanks to its continuous sidewall. Last but not least, you can use Tech-Fibre or Smart-Glue skins for the ski, thanks to the new Smart Skinclip System.
